When upgraded, they are good against Vehicles, but Space Marines still do more damage with Missiles Launchers on top of being stronger overall due to more health, more squad members, and only taking up 2 squad cap. They are also have subpar anti-infantry abilities, losing in a shootout to a Shoota Boy Squad, a Tier 1 infantry. Scourge Squads are very fragile, possessing only 360 HP apiece and only having 7 Squad members. Scourge Squad - Everyone keeps toting them as the best Tier 2 infantry. They have less range but that doesn't matter because they can teleport. Also compare them to Warp Spider squad which have slightly less cumulative DPS, but 2x the HP apiece, cheaper reinforce cost, only 2 squad cap, and better against vehicles. Only downside is movement speed which is less important for ranged units. Compare that to a Terminator squad which has similar DPS, over twice the HP, a better Armor Type, loads more morale, similar reinforce cost, and similar pop cap (5 Ork Pop is roughly equal to 1 Squad Cap).
